A total of 220.66 crore vaccine doses have been administered as part of India’s Nationwide Vaccination Drive, with 95.21 crore individuals receiving their second dose and 22.87 crore individuals receiving the precautionary dose. In the last 24 hours, 883 doses were administered, further contributing to the nation’s vaccination efforts.
The current active caseload in India stands at 11,393, which accounts for a mere 0.03% of the total cases. With a high recovery rate of 98.79%, 2,661 individuals have recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,44,39,965. Meanwhile, there have been 1,021 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours, resulting in a daily positivity rate of 0.78%.
The weekly positivity rate stands at 0.97%. In terms of testing, a total of 92.89 crore tests have been conducted thus far, with 1,31,172 tests conducted in the last 24 hours, demonstrating the nation’s commitment to widespread testing and monitoring.
