Under the nationwide vaccination drive, 220.62 crore doses (95.19 crore second doses and 22.85 crore precaution doses) have been administered so far in India. In the last 24 hours, 28,250 doses have been administered.
According to current records, India’s active caseload stands at 1,820, which is only 0.01% of the total caseload. The recovery rate is 98.81%, with 109 recoveries in the last 24 hours and 4,41,51,424 total recoveries across the country. In the last 24 hours, 132 new cases have been reported. The daily positivity rate and the weekly positivity rate are 0.10% and 0.09%, respectively.
The government and healthcare authorities have been actively taking steps to ensure India’s successful fight against the pandemic. Effective vaccination has been the main weapon in this battle. With 220.62 crore doses administered so far, India has made significant progress in the fight against COVID-19.
