As India continues its Nationwide Vaccination Drive against COVID-19, the latest figures show that a total of 220.66 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far, including 95.21 crore second doses and 22.87 crore precaution doses. In the last 24 hours, 439 doses were administered, indicating a steady pace of vaccination across the country. The active caseload in India stands at 25,178, which is only 0.06% of the total cases.
The recovery rate currently stands at 98.76%, with 3,861 recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours, taking the total recoveries to 4,44,14,599. However, 1,839 new cases were recorded in the same period. The daily positivity rate is 2.49%, while the weekly positivity rate is at 2.17%.
In total, 92.77 crore tests have been conducted so far, including 73,760 in the last 24 hours. These figures suggest that while the situation remains under control, it is essential to continue the vaccination drive and follow all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of the virus.
