As part of India’s nationwide vaccination drive, a total of 220.66 crore vaccine doses have been administered, including 95.21 crore second doses and 22.87 crore precaution doses. In the past 24 hours, 2,180 doses were administered. Currently, the country’s active caseload stands at 44,175, accounting for only 0.10% of the total cases.
India’s recovery rate is currently at an impressive 98.72%, with 6,379 recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 4,43,77,257. On the other hand, 3,325 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, resulting in a daily positivity rate of 2.29% and a weekly positivity rate of 3.87%.
In the last 24 hours, 1,45,309 tests were conducted, bringing the total number of tests conducted so far to 92.69 crore. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, India continues to make steady progress in its vaccination drive and efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19.
