The nationwide vaccination drive in India is making steady progress, with 220.63 crore total vaccine doses administered so far, including 95.19 crore second doses and 22.85 crore precaution doses. This positive trend has been continuing over the last 24 hours, as 6,394 doses have been administered till now.
The active caseload of Covid-19 in India has seen a significant decrease and currently stands at 1,818. This has resulted in the active cases being less than 0.01% of the overall caseload, showcasing the success of the vaccination drive in the country.
The recovery rate in India has also seen a further increase, with currently standing at 98.81%. This is largely due to the 93 recoveries in the last 24 hours, increasing the total recoveries to 4,41,51,703.
On the other hand, only 74 new cases have been recorded in the last 24 hours. This reflects the improved daily positivity rate of 0.06%, which is even better when compared to the weekly positivity rate of 0.08%.
Overall, the outlook for India’s fight against Covid-19 looks positive, with 91.72 crore vaccine doses administered so far. With the nationwide vaccination drive continuing to make progress, India is on the path to overcoming the pandemic.
