As India continues its nationwide vaccination drive, a total of 220.66 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far, with 95.21 crore individuals receiving their second dose and 22.87 crore individuals receiving a precautionary dose. In the last 24 hours alone, 441 doses were administered.
The current active caseload in India stands at 40,215, which is only 0.09% of the total cases reported. The recovery rate currently stands at an impressive 98.72%, with 4,692 recoveries recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,42,04,771. However, 7,830 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the daily positivity rate to 3.65%.
The weekly positivity rate stands at 3.83%. In total, 92.32 crore tests have been conducted so far, with 2,14,242 tests conducted in the last 24 hours.
