As part of the nationwide vaccination drive, a remarkable total of 220.66 crore vaccine doses have been administered thus far, including 95.21 crore second doses and 22.87 crore precaution doses. In the past 24 hours alone, 1,050 doses were administered, demonstrating the ongoing efforts to protect the population. India’s active caseload currently stands at 9,092, accounting for a mere 0.02% of the total cases.
The recovery rate remains impressively high at 98.79%, with 1,948 individuals recovering in the last 24 hours, contributing to a cumulative total of 4,44,44,013 recoveries. In the same timeframe, 865 new cases were recorded, resulting in a daily positivity rate of 0.64%. The weekly positivity rate stands at 0.81%.
So far, an extensive 92.91 crore tests have been conducted, including 1,35,873 tests in the last 24 hours, underscoring the commitment to widespread testing to track and curb the spread of the virus.
