The Indian Air Force (IAF) will celebrate its Day on Saturday, 8 October 2022. The IAF, or ‘Bharatiya Vayu Sena,’ was founded in 1932 to guard the country against air strikes and aerial attacks. The 90th anniversary of the IAF will be celebrated on Indian Air Force Day 2022. The day will be celebrated with great joy and splendor. This time on 8th of october, the Air Force Day parade will be held in Chandigarh. On the eve of Indian Air Force Day, people will witness a dazzling show with around 80 aircrafts for the fly past. 1. Air Force Day History:-

The Indian Air Force was established on 8th of October , 1932 as an auxiliary air force of the British Empire. It was given the prefix Royal to honor India’s aviation service during World War II. On April 1, 1933, its first aircraft came into being with six RAF-trained officers and 19 Havai Sepoys (air soldiers).

Indian Air Force Day 2022: Celebrations
