Amit Shah Applauds Government Agencies for Rescuing Over 1 Lakh Fishermen.

On the 17th of June Amit Shah, a prominent political figure and Minister of Home Affairs praised the combined efforts of the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat in saving the lives of more than 1 lakh fishermen. He highlighted the crucial role played by various agencies, including NDRF, SDRF, Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, BSF, State Police, and State Reserve Police.

Saving Lives: A Joint Effort

Amit Shah acknowledged the tremendous work carried out by the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat in saving the lives of over 1 lakh fishermen. He highlighted the coordinated efforts of multiple agencies involved in this operation. Through their combined expertise and resources, these agencies successfully executed the task of safely bringing the fishermen to the shore in a timely manner, averting potential dangers and risks.

Agencies at the Forefront

Shah expressed his gratitude towards the agencies that played a pivotal role in the rescue operation. He specifically mentioned the contributions of 19 teams of NDRF (National Disaster Response Force), 13 teams of SDRF (State Disaster Response Force), and two reserve battalions. These teams, despite facing life-threatening situations, worked tirelessly to ensure the safety of the fishermen and carried out their duties with utmost dedication and bravery.

Collaborative Spirit

The Minister of Home Affairs emphasized the collaborative spirit demonstrated by various agencies involved in the rescue mission. He highlighted that the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, BSF (Border Security Force), State Police, and State Reserve Police worked shoulder to shoulder-with NDRF and SDRF. This joint effort showcased the unity and coordination among these forces, enabling an efficient and effective response to the crisis.

Restoring Communication Systems

Amit Shah also noted the significant progress made in restoring communication systems. He acknowledged that the restoration efforts were nearing completion, indicating the successful restoration of crucial communication infrastructure. The reinstatement of communication systems is vital in ensuring effective coordination and quick response during rescue operations and post-disaster management.
