Home Minister Amit Shah has expressed deep concern over the natural disasters triggered by Cyclone Remal in Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Meghalaya, and Mizoram. Shah briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the situation, who expressed solidarity with those affected.
Shah spoke to the respective state Chief Ministers, taking stock of the situation and assuring them of all possible help. He stated, “Our thoughts are with those who have lost their loved ones and prayers with those injured for a speedy recovery.”
He emphasized that the situation is being closely monitored, and authorities are providing all possible assistance to those affected by the cyclone. The government’s prompt response and assurance of support aim to mitigate the impact of the disaster and aid in the recovery efforts.
