Amit Shah Inaugurated Naranarayan Shastri Institute of Technology

Gujarat: Union Home Minister Amit Shah, inaugurated the Naranarayan Shastri Institute of Technology (NSIT) at Jetalpur in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In his address, Shri Amit Shah praised the transformative impact of Swaminarayan Bhagwan on Jetalpur village, turning it into an educational hub.

Highlighting the Swaminarayan sect’s dedication to education and societal welfare, Shri Amit Shah underscored the pivotal role of Swaminarayan temples in promoting literacy, especially among marginalized communities. He emphasized the significant contribution of the Swaminarayan sect to the educational landscape of Gujarat.

“Furthermore, Shri Amit Shah announced the introduction of new courses in forensic science, including B.Sc. Forensic Science, M.Sc. Forensic Science, M.Sc. Cyber Security, and integrated courses in Digital Forensics. He expressed confidence that these programs would position Jetalpur as a premier destination for forensic science education in Gujarat and beyond”.

Shri Amit Shah also lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiatives to reform the country’s legal framework. He emphasized the importance of indigenous legal systems and highlighted the government’s efforts to replace colonial-era laws with Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, placing Indian citizens, especially women, at the forefront of justice.

“Regarding forensic science’s pivotal role in the new legal framework, Shri Amit Shah stressed the need for trained professionals to collect and analyze forensic evidence. He reiterated the government’s commitment to producing skilled forensic experts through initiatives like the Forensic Science University”.

Shri Amit Shah emphasized the interdisciplinary nature of forensic science education and its critical role in modern law enforcement. He reaffirmed the government’s dedication to fostering a robust legal system and empowering youth through quality education and skill development.
