New Delhi: On the 13th of January Amit Shah Today in New Delhi paid tribute to Sharad Yadav ji and met his family members and expressed condolences.
”Sharad Yadav ji, who fought vociferously against the Emergency in the country, raised the issues of the poor and backward and worked for their welfare,” he said.
Sharad Yadav, who was born on July 1, 1947, and died on January 12, 2023, was an Indian politician from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) party. He was elected seven times to Lok Sabha and three times to Rajya Sabha from the JD(U).
He was the National President of Janata Dal (United) from 2003 to 2016. For his involvement in anti-party activities, he was disqualified from the Rajya Sabha and removed from party leadership positions.
