Amit Shah Will Inaugurate The Much-Awaited Light And Sound Show At Red Fort.

Delhi: Home Minister Shri Amit Shah will inaugurate the much-awaited Light and Sound Show at Red Fort (10 January) today evening.

A new Light and Sound show at the Red Fort titled ‘Jai Hind’ will be a dramatic presentation of the bravery and history of India from the 17th century to the present day.

The Light and Sound Show ‘Jai Hind’, divided into three parts, will bring key episodes from India’s history to life, including the rise of the Marathas, the War of Independence of 1857, the rise of the Indian National Army and the INA trials, the fight for independence, and India’s steady progress over the last 75 years.

The three-part show will be showcased at different monuments inside Red Fort, starting with Naubatkhana, to Deewan-e- Aam, to Deewan-e-Khas.

The show will be showcased to the general public in English and Hindi with a seating arrangement of 700 people for a one-time watch.

This approximately one-hour-long show is a one-of-a-kind visual and cultural treat that uses interactive techniques to highlight India’s rich history and heritage to newer generations.

After a gap of almost 5 years, the Light and Sound Show in Red Fort is commencing afresh.

The Archaeological Survey of India has opened 4 museums namely Yaad-e-Jallian Museum, India’s First War of Independence in 1857, Azadi Ke Diwane and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Museum as a part of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Now a brand new light and sound show will further strengthen the patriotic pride among the viewers.

The Archaeological Survey of India has been continuously working to improve the visitor experience at monuments and sites across the country, whether it be the illumination during the achievement of 100 crore vaccinations or the celebration of 75 years of independence and hoisting of G20 delegates.
