Anita Hassanandani Reddy, born on 14 April 1981, is an Indian actress and model who has acted in multilingual films and serials. She appears in films from a variety of South Indian languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil. She made her debut on the television screen in the daytime soap ”Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii” after appearing as a model for EverYuth, Sunsilk, Boroplus, and other brands. The 2003 Thriller film ”Kucch To Hai” marked her debut in Hindi films. She later worked in the films ”Krishna Cottage”and ”Koi Aap Sa”.
She rose to fame in 2013 with her role as Shagun Arora/Bhalla in the television show ”Yeh Hai Mohabbatein”. She was a wild card entry in the eighth season of “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa”. She played the character of Vishakha aka Vish in Ekta Kapoor’s ”Naagin 3” from June 2018 to May 2019.

Anita Hassanandani and Rohit Reddy got married in Goa on October 14th, 2013. She announced her pregnancy in an Instagram video on 10 October 2020, featuring herself and Reddy. The couple’s first child, a boy, was born on 9 February 2021. They named their son Aaravv Reddy.
