Army Camp in Sikkim Affected by Teesta River Flooding: 23 Soldiers Missing

In a concerning development, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has reported that an army camp in Sikkim has been affected by flooding in the Teesta River. This incident followed a cloud burst in the region, leading to swift and rising waters that have put the safety of soldiers stationed at the camp at risk.

The Union Minister expressed deep concern over the situation, stating, “So far, information has been received about 23 brave soldiers missing.” The sudden flooding triggered an immediate response, with rescue operations initiated to locate and ensure the safety of the missing soldiers.
