Arunachal Pradesh: Chief Minister Pema Khandu has unveiled important decisions made by the state cabinet on March 2, aimed at enhancing governance and public service delivery across various sectors.
In the Health & Family Welfare Department, the cabinet has approved the creation of a Deputy Drugs Controller position and initiated the formulation of recruitment rules for several key roles, including Joint Director of Nursing, Senior Public Health Nursing Officer, Deputy Programme National Health Officer, Lab Assistant, Lab Technician, and Senior Lab Technician. These decisions are expected to bolster the healthcare infrastructure and streamline administrative processes in the state’s healthcare system.
Additionally, the cabinet has sanctioned the creation of a Chief Architect position within the Arunachal Pradesh Public Works Department (APPWD), reinforcing efforts to strengthen infrastructure development and urban planning initiatives.
Furthermore, in a bid to empower local governance structures, the cabinet has approved the creation of 32 Gaon Burah and 6 Head Gaon Burah positions, recognizing the pivotal role played by grassroots leaders in rural governance and community development.
Moreover, the cabinet has granted a one-time relaxation of the hard belt posting criteria under the Arunachal Pradesh Civil Services (APSC) Rules 2018, reflecting the government’s commitment to addressing administrative challenges and facilitating smoother implementation of regulations.
