Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu, took to social media to extend heartfelt birthday wishes to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath. Recognizing Adityanath’s dynamic leadership and commitment to good governance, Khandu praised his outstanding work in fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Uttar Pradesh.
In his birthday message, CM Khandu highlighted Yogi Adityanath’s significant contributions to the all-round development of Uttar Pradesh during his tenure as Chief Minister. Admiring Adityanath’s dedication, Khandu expressed his prayers to Lord Buddha for the UP CM Yogi’s good health and long life.
Yogi Adityanath, born Ajay Mohan Singh Bisht on June 5, 1972, is a prominent Indian Hindu monk and politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Adityanath has been serving as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh since March 19, 2017, making him the longest-serving CM of the state, with two consecutive terms.
Prior to his role as UP CM, Yogi Adityanath had a distinguished political career, serving as a member of India’s parliament for nearly two decades. He entered politics at a young age and became one of the youngest Indian parliamentarians at 26. Adityanath represented the Gorakhpur Lok Sabha Constituency for five consecutive terms before transitioning to state politics.
In addition to his political career, CM Yogi Adityanath is also the mahant (head priest) of the Gorakhnath Math, a prominent Hindu monastery in Gorakhpur. He is known for his association with Hindu nationalist organizations and his strong Hindutva ideology.
As Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath has been instrumental in implementing various developmental initiatives and policies aimed at fostering socio-economic growth and upholding Hindu cultural values. His leadership style and commitment to Hindutva principles have garnered both praise and criticism, making him a prominent figure in Indian politics.
