Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has applauded the swift action taken by the State Task Force (STF) in apprehending two individuals, Abidur Rahman and Munnes Khan, in Guwahati following actionable intelligence.
During a press briefing, CM Sarma commended the efforts of Assam Police in conducting a successful operation, which resulted in the arrest of the suspects after a hot pursuit. Subsequently, a thorough search and seizure operation was carried out at their premises, leading to the discovery of 34 soap boxes containing a total of 500 grams of heroin.
Expressing his appreciation for the diligent work of Assam Police, CM Sarma highlighted the significance of such operations in combating the menace of drug trafficking in the state. He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between law enforcement agencies and the community to ensure the safety and security of the citizens.
