Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma lauds the BJP’s outstanding performance in the second phase of elections, citing excellent turnout and significant leads in the party’s strongholds.
“My feedback from yesterday – excellent turnout in our strongholds, 2nd phase has been spectacular for BJP in Assam,” remarked CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, expressing satisfaction with the party’s performance.
Of the 5 seats contested, Sarma confirms that the BJP is winning 4 seats with a considerable margin. However, in one seat, the contest remains very close due to obvious reasons.
