Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma recently shared his reflections on the significant success of the BJP in Odisha during the recent elections. Sarma highlighted the importance of his pilgrimage to Odisha, where he campaigned in 16 Lok Sabha constituencies, contributing to the BJP’s impressive victory of 20 seats in the state.
“This pilgrimage to Odisha was very special during this election. I campaigned in 16 Lok Sabha constituencies. BJP won 20 seats from the state, becoming a key contributor to forming the NDA government,” Himanta Biswa Sarma stated.
Expressing his appreciation, the Chief Minister remarked, “The warmth and support from the people of Odisha remain vividly in my heart. Mahaprabhu Jagannath will surely bless Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the new BJP government in Odisha.”
The overwhelming support from the people of Odisha played a crucial role in the BJP’s overall performance, significantly aiding in the formation of the NDA government.
