In response to the situation, Chief Minister Sarma stated, “Due to the situation in Sikkim, we have dispatched two senior officers to oversee the evacuation of our 160 students from Rongpo and Majitar as soon as possible.” His prompt decision to dispatch senior officers underscores his commitment to the well-being and safety of students from Assam studying in other states.
