An Indian actor who works in Tamil cinema, Atharvaa Murali is known for his versatile roles. Atharvaa began his acting career with Baana Kaathadi (2010), the son of actor Murali and grandson of director S. Siddalingaiah.
After his performance as a youngster suffering from delusion in the romantic thriller Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal (2012), he garnered critical acclaim before signing on to feature in Bala’s period film Paradesi (2013).
Atharvaa won a Filmfare Award for Best Actor in Tamil for his role as a rural villager held as a slave in a tea plantation.
Early Life
Atharva, actor Murali’s second child, was born to Murali and his wife Shobha. He has two siblings an elder sister, Kavya, and a younger brother, Akash. He attended St. Michael’s Academy for his schooling. He went to the Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology for engineering.
