This Diwali holds special significance for Ramnagari Ayodhya as it prepares for a historic and grand Deepotsav ahead of Pran Pratishtha. The city is adorned with the promise of brilliance, as 24 lakh lamps are set to illuminate Ayodhya’s landscape, creating a dazzling spectacle that aims to make this Diwali unforgettable.
Aiming for a World Record:
In an ambitious endeavor, Ayodhya plans to set a world record by lighting 24 lakh lamps at 51 ghats of Ram Ki Paidi. The initiative, under the guidance of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, involves the concerted efforts of more than 25 thousand individuals dedicated to making this Deepotsav an unprecedented celebration.
Preparations in Full Swing:
Preparations for the grand event are in full swing, with the university administration leading the charge. Overseeing the initiative is Vice-Chancellor Pratibha Goyal, ensuring that Ayodhya’s Deepotsav goes down in history as a regional festival of lights like never before. The commitment of volunteers, ghat in-charges, and coordinators has resulted in 60 to 70 percent of the lamps already being installed at all the ghats.
A Spectacle of Light and Celebration:
The Deepotsav promises to be a breathtaking spectacle as the city’s ghats come alive with the warm glow of millions of lamps. The event not only celebrates Diwali but also symbolizes unity and community spirit as thousands work together to achieve a common goal.
Telecasting the Celebration:
To ensure that the grandeur of Ayodhya’s Deepotsav is shared with a wider audience, plans are underway to install LED screens at 23 locations in Ramnagari. These screens will broadcast live coverage of various programs during the event, allowing people from afar to partake in the joyous celebration.
As Ayodhya readies itself for the Deepotsav, the city is poised to create history by illuminating its ghats with awe-inspiring 24 lakh lamps. The event not only marks the celebration of Diwali but stands as a testament to the collective efforts of the community to create a world-record-worthy spectacle. In the heart of Ayodhya, this Diwali promises to be a luminous celebration, radiating the spirit of unity and festivity.
