Patel’s leadership qualities were recognized when he became the President of Memnagar Nagarpalika in 1999-2000. Additionally, he held the position of Vice Chairman of the school board of the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) from 2008 to 2010. His dedication and effective governance were evident during his tenure as the chairman of the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) from 2015 to 2017.
