Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed sorrow over the tragic deaths of six individuals in Nawada due to lightning. He has instructed an immediate ex-gratia payment of Rs. 4 lakh to each victim’s family and emphasized the need for proper treatment of those injured.
Kumar appealed to the public to exercise caution during adverse weather conditions and follow guidelines issued by the Disaster Management Department. He advised staying indoors during storms to ensure safety and wished for a speedy recovery for the injured.
