BJP Mourns Passing of Former MLA A.M. Krishnamoorthy in Puducherry

A.M. Krishnamoorthy, born in 1957 or 1958, was an esteemed Indian politician who served as a member of the BJP before joining the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) in 2006. He represented the Reddiarpalayam constituency in Ozhukarai taluk, Puducherry district, in the Puducherry Legislative Assembly from 2001 to 2006. Krishnamoorthy was known as the first elected MLA of the BJP in the Puducherry Legislative Assembly.

His contributions to politics and public service left a lasting impact on the community he served. Krishnamoorthy’s dedication to his constituents and his commitment to the betterment of society earned him respect and admiration across party lines.
