BJP Mourns the Loss of Senior Leader M.B. Bhanuprakash

BJP President JP Nadda expressed deep sorrow over the passing of senior Karnataka BJP leader and former MLC, Shri M.B. Bhanuprakash, who died of cardiac arrest during a protest in Shivamogga. Bhanuprakash, aged 69, was known for his dedication to the party’s ideology and public welfare. His last rites will be held in Mattur village, Shivamogga taluk.

M.B. Bhanuprakash, aged 69, passed away due to cardiac arrest while leading a protest against the Congress government over the rise in petrol and diesel prices in Shivamogga. The incident occurred at Seenappa Setty Circle, where Bhanuprakash collapsed while boarding a car after addressing the protestors. Despite being rushed to a private hospital, doctors declared him brought dead.

The last rites of M.B. Bhanuprakash are scheduled to be held at Mattur village in Shivamogga taluk. Bhanuprakash had served the BJP in various capacities, including state vice president and district unit president. Known as the Brahmin face of Karnataka BJP, he maintained a strong rapport with former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa. His contributions to the party and his community are remembered with deep respect.
