BSNL, the state-owned telecom company, is regaining its lost glory with the introduction of a new logo and several innovative services. As it prepares to launch its 5G services nationwide, BSNL is also expanding its 4G offerings and enhancing user experience with advanced features.
1. Launch of BSNL’s 7 New Services
BSNL has launched seven new services, including a national Wi-Fi roaming feature for fiber internet customers, enabling them to access high-speed internet at BSNL hotspots without extra costs. Additionally, a new fiber-based TV service offers over 500 live channels, with data usage exempt from monthly allowances.
2. Spam-Free Network and Automated Kiosks
BSNL’s innovative spam-free network automatically filters unwanted messages and scams, improving customer security. The company has also introduced automated kiosks for easy SIM management, allowing users to buy, upgrade, or switch their SIM cards seamlessly.
3. Private 5G Network for Mining Operations
In collaboration with C-DAC, BSNL has launched a specialized private 5G network for mining operations, focusing on improving safety and efficiency using homegrown technology. This network enables advanced tools and real-time monitoring in mining areas.
4. Direct-to-Device Connectivity and Number Auctions
BSNL’s Direct-to-Device (D2D) service integrates satellite and mobile networks, ensuring connectivity in remote areas. The company has also introduced e-auctions for unique mobile numbers, offering potential subscribers a chance to secure special numbers in select regions like UP East, Chennai, and Haryana.
