President Droupadi Murmu of India received a heartfelt telephone call from President Rumen Radev of Bulgaria, extending gratitude for the valiant efforts of the Indian Navy in rescuing the hijacked Bulgarian Vessel MV Ruen and its crew, comprising 7 Bulgarian nationals.
“The rescue mission, carried out by the Indian Navy, exemplified the strong spirit of cooperation and solidarity between the two nations during times of crisis. President Radev conveyed his appreciation for India’s swift and effective response, which ensured the safe return of the vessel and its crew to Bulgarian shores”.
