Tevez is an Argentine professional football manager and former player. Capable of playing as a striker, winger, supporting forward, or attacking midfielder, Tevez was a quick, tenacious, powerful, hard-working, and dynamic forward in his prime. Boca Juniors was where Tevez began his career, winning the Copa Libertadores and Intercontinental Cup in 2003. He then moved to Corinthians, a Brazilian club, where he won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A.
Plagued by issues relating to his third-party ownership by Media Sports Investment, his moves to English clubs West Ham United in 2006 and Manchester United in 2007 resulted in changes to both Premier League and FIFA regulations. Tevez joined Manchester City 2009, rivals of Manchester United.
He won the Premier League Golden Boot in the 2010–11 season and the Premier League title in the 2011–12 season. He joined Juventus in 2013, where he won two Scudetti among other trophies. In June 2015, he returned to Boca Juniors before joining the Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua the following year in a deal that made him one of the highest-paid footballers in the world. He returned to Boca Juniors for a third spell in 2018 and won the 2017–18 and 2019–20 Primera División titles.
