Tragic Incident in Chhattisgarh: 5 Villagers Die Due to Gas Leak in Janjgir

Tragic Incident: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed deep sorrow over the death of 5 villagers in Kikirda village, Janjgir-Champa district, following a gas leak incident. He extended condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for peace for the departed souls.

Upon receiving reports of the incident, local authorities including Birra police and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) responded promptly. SGOP Yadmani Sidar of Janjgir-Champa confirmed the tragic deaths, stating that the exact nature of the gas and its source are yet to be determined.

“5 people died due to a gas leak in Kikirda village. Birra police and SDRF teams have been deployed to investigate the incident,” said SGOP Yadmani Sidar. Currently, there is no official confirmation regarding the origin or type of gas involved.

The incident has sparked concern in the local community, with authorities actively engaged in determining the cause and ensuring safety measures are in place. Further investigations are underway to ascertain the circumstances leading to this unfortunate event.
