Bijapur: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of two Special Task Force (STF) jawans and the injury of four others in an IED blast carried out by Maoists in the Tarrem area of Bijapur district.
“I pray to God for peace of the souls of the martyred jawans and a speedy recovery of the injured,” CM Sai said. He condemned the attack, attributing it to the Maoists’ frustration with the government’s ongoing campaign to eradicate Maoism.
“The martyrdom of the jawans will not go in vain. Our fight will continue until Maoism is eradicated,” he asserted, emphasizing the government’s commitment to ending the insurgency.
