In a significant move towards enhancing education in Rajasthan, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has announced a collaborative initiative involving HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited) and the Mittal Foundation. The project aims to install 584 interactive flat panel boards in 165 government schools located in Jodhpur, thereby transforming traditional classrooms into modern, interactive learning spaces.
These smart classrooms are set to benefit around 1 lakh students in the region, providing them with access to advanced educational technology and interactive teaching tools. The initiative is expected to create a more engaging and effective learning environment, aligning with the evolving educational needs of the 21st century.
“Chief Minister Gehlot expressed his gratitude to HPCL and the Mittal Foundation for their cooperation in advancing education in Rajasthan. He emphasized the importance of such collaborations in driving positive changes in the state’s educational landscape”.
The ambitious project is slated for completion by October 15, 2023, marking a significant step forward in the integration of technology and education. By leveraging Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, HPCL and the Mittal Foundation are contributing to the development of smart classrooms that will empower students with modern learning tools and resources.
“This initiative not only reflects the commitment of these organizations to social responsibility but also aligns with the broader vision of improving the quality of education and equipping students with the skills needed for a dynamic and competitive future. The move towards smart classrooms in government schools underscores the collective effort to bridge educational gaps and provide equal opportunities for students in Rajasthan”.
