During his address, CM Sai noted that Chhattisgarh is among India’s major steel-producing states, with significant contributions from established units like the Bhilai Steel Plant and Nagarnar Steel Plant. The state currently accounts for 15 to 20 percent of the country’s total steel production.
Future Expansion Plans
Sai emphasized the potential for further expansion of the steel industry in Chhattisgarh, announcing plans to establish more steel plants in the future. He expressed confidence in the state’s capacity to enhance its steel production capabilities, contributing to both local and national economies.
