CM Pema Khandu Inaugurates Upgraded Drinking Water Project

Drinking Water Project: Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu, inaugurated a new drinking water project at TRIHMS, Naharlagun, with a substantial increase in capacity from 2 lakh liters to 19 lakh liters per day. This upgrade aims to provide a steady and reliable water supply to the region.

Drinking Water Project: Commitment to Infrastructure Development

CM Khandu emphasized that this project reflects the government’s dedication to enhancing infrastructure and services in the capital region. He highlighted plans, including the development of a super specialty complex at TRIHMS and the establishment of a state cancer institute at Midpu.

Master Plan for Capital Development

In addition to these initiatives, Khandu announced the preparation of a master plan for the long-term development of Itanagar and Naharlagun. The plan focuses on beautification and upgrading colony roads, contributing to the overall improvement of the capital’s infrastructure.

Khandu congratulated TRIHMS and expressed gratitude to the Itanagar Smart City Mission and the PHED Department for their efforts in bringing this essential project to fruition.
