Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has taken swift action in response to the intensifying cold wave gripping the state. Recognizing the potential impact on students and the need for precautionary measures, the Chief Minister announced alterations to school timings, with the changes set to be effective from today until January 20, 2024.
According to the directives issued by CM Mohan Yadav, both government and non-government schools that operate in the morning and two shifts will now commence activities from 10 am. This adjustment aims to mitigate the effects of the cold wave, ensuring the well-being and comfort of students and staff during the winter months.
Government schools that typically start at 10.30 am will maintain their regular timetable, minimizing disruption to the academic schedule. CM Mohan Yadav emphasized the importance of prioritizing the health and safety of students while acknowledging the need for flexibility in the face of challenging weather conditions.
Furthermore, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav assured that pre-scheduled examinations for classes 6 to 12 will proceed according to the established timetable. This decision reflects the government’s commitment to maintaining the continuity of education despite the weather-related adjustments.
