CM Pema Khandu Mourns Passing of Nabam Atum

A somber atmosphere enveloped Arunachal Pradesh as Chief Minister Pema Khandu conveyed his heartfelt condolences on the passing of Shri Nabam Atum Ji. “Pained to hear about the passing away of Shri Nabam Atum Ji,” he expressed.

Shri Nabam Atum Ji, esteemed for his roles as the former President of the Indigenous Faith and Cultural Society of Arunachal Pradesh and former chairman of APPSC, left an indelible mark on the state’s social fabric. Chief Minister Khandu acknowledged his rich contributions to society, recognizing his pivotal role in shaping cultural narratives and fostering a sense of nationalism.

“He had received ONE India award and played an important role in fostering nationalism among the people living along the Indo-China border in Arunachal Pradesh through initiatives like Seemant Darshan Yatra,” Chief Minister Khandu reminisced, highlighting Shri Nabam Atum Ji’s dedication to national unity and integration.
