In a significant development for education in Uttarakhand, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the state’s “Vidya Samiksha Kendra” at the Directorate of Education in Dehradun. This momentous occasion was graced by the presence of the Honorable Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and witnessed the participation of 141 Prime Ministers of the state.
The inauguration also included the laying of the foundation stone for Shri Vidyalaya and the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Residential School, highlighting the commitment to expanding educational opportunities in the region.
During this event, Chief Minister Dhami introduced two vital schemes aimed at empowering students and promoting excellence in higher education. The Chief Minister Higher Education Meritorious Scholarship Scheme and the Chief Minister Higher Education Research Incentive Scheme were launched, providing students with valuable support for their educational pursuits.
One of the key highlights of this development is the “Vidya Samiksha Kendra,” which is set to play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of education in the state. This center will gather real-time data related to schools, students, teachers, and student assessments, serving as a guiding force for educational improvement. Additionally, it will facilitate human resource management within the education department, offering online resources for school maintenance, transfers, appointments, and monitoring.
