CM Shivraj Singh condoles the demise of Rajaram Vaskale & announces 1 crore Samman Nidhi to the family.

In a heart-wrenching incident, TI Shri Rajaram Vaskale of Nemavar police station in Dewas district, Madhya Pradesh, lost his life while performing his duty. The Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, expressed deep sadness upon learning about the incident and paid tribute to the brave officer.

CM Chouhan said, “A very sad incident has happened. TI Shri Rajaram Vaskale ji was a conscientious officer. He sacrificed his life while performing his duties. I pay my respects at the feet of such a brave fellow.” He also acknowledged that Rajaram ji’s family, including his wife and two young children, must be taken care of, emphasizing it as their duty. As a gesture of support, the CM announced a Samman Nidhi (honor fund) of Rs 1 crore for Rajaram Vaskale’s family. The last rites of the officer will be conducted with state honors.

The tragic incident occurred in Dewas district’s Nemavar police station when Rajaram Vaskale spotted a dead body floating in the Jamner River while on duty. Acting promptly, he courageously jumped into the raging river to retrieve the body. However, he got caught in the strong currents and tragically drowned. The news of his untimely demise deeply saddened the community.

Upon receiving the news, Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel, Ashish Sharma (Khategaon MLA of Dewas district), Additional SP Rural Suryakant Sharma, and other police officers and staff rushed to Harda Hospital. Despite the efforts of the police and villagers, Rajaram Vaskale could only be rescued after considerable struggle. He was immediately taken to Nemavar Primary Health Center in critical condition and later referred to Harda for further treatment. Sadly, despite the medical team’s best efforts, he was declared dead.

Originally hailing from Kodiya village near Anjad in Barwani district, Rajaram Vaskale joined the Police Department as a Sub Inspector in 2012. His dedication and hard work led to his promotion to the position of TI in 2021. Prior to his assignment in Nemavar, he served in charge of Udayanagar police station in Dewas district. Known for his friendly and compassionate nature, Rajaram Vaskale was also an excellent swimmer.

The entire community mourns the loss of this brave officer who selflessly gave his life in the line of duty. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s announcement of the Rs 1 crore honor fund is a gesture of support and gratitude towards Rajaram Vaskale’s family, recognizing their sacrifices and the need to care for them during this difficult time.
