CM Yogi Adityanath Announces Development Initiatives and Women’s Welfare Plans

In a recent public meeting held in Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made pivotal announcements regarding the state’s development initiatives and welfare programs, particularly focused on women’s welfare and holistic societal growth.

Empowering Women with Welfare Measures

During the address, CM Yogi assured the women of the state about the provision of a monthly pension of Rs 1000 for destitute sisters, expressing intentions to further elevate this financial assistance in the future. He emphasized the need to empower and support women, recognizing their pivotal role in societal development.

Development Projects and Women-Centric Schemes

Delivering a boost to the district’s progress, the Chief Minister inaugurated and gifted 145 development projects valued at Rs 688 crore from Tiranga Maidan. He stressed the significance of inclusive growth, emphasizing the need to respect and empower every segment of the population for comprehensive development.

Under Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana, the government has been supporting the educational aspirations of daughters, providing financial aid of Rs 15,000 for graduation studies after birth. It was announced that this aid would be increased to Rs 25,000 beginning the new academic session, reflecting the government’s commitment to promoting education among girls.

Furthermore, the government has introduced provisions to equip children studying in Basic Education Council schools with essential items such as two uniforms, shoes, socks, bags, books, and sweaters. Upon registration, an amount of Rs 1200 is credited to the family’s bank account, ensuring access to fundamental educational necessities.

Unity and Development over Casteism

CM Yogi emphasized the government’s commitment to eradicating discrimination based on caste, family, region, or language, highlighting the importance of inclusive and unbiased development. He criticized the practice of promoting nepotism under the guise of casteism, suggesting it hinders common people from receiving the benefits of developmental works.

The public meeting in Auraiya was a platform for CM Yogi Adityanath to reiterate the government’s commitment to inclusive development, gender equality, and eradicating divisive practices, ensuring Uttar Pradesh progresses towards a more equitable and prosperous future.
