A tragic stampede during a crowded religious event in Hathras resulted in the deaths of 121 devotees, as chaos ensued and bodies piled up, marking one of the worst such incidents in recent memory.

The exact cause of the stampede is still under investigation, with authorities & emergency services responding swiftly to the disaster. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the Hathras government hospital to meet with injured victims and assess the situation firsthand.

CM Yogi Adityanath Responds to Hathras Stampede

Taking to Twitter, CM Yogi Adityanath expressed condolences and assured that the injured were receiving top medical care under skilled doctors’ supervision. He emphasized the state government’s commitment to supporting the victims and their families during this challenging time.

“Today I met the people injured in the unfortunate accident in Hathras in the hospital and enquired about their well-being and obtained information about their treatment from the doctors. Under the leadership of skilled doctors, proper treatment of everyone is being given top priority.

In this difficult time, the state government stands with the victims and their families with full readiness and sensitivity. May all the injured get well soon, this is my prayer to Lord Shri Ram,” CM Yogi Adityanath tweeted.

The Hathras stampede has cast a shadow over the community, prompting an outpouring of grief and calls for stringent safety measures at large gatherings to prevent such tragedies in the future.
