In a recent visit to Ayodhya on Thursday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took stock of the ongoing construction at the Ram Janmabhoomi and expressed satisfaction with the progress of the grand Ram Temple. During his visit, CM Yogi attended the court of Ram Lalla, inspecting both the darshan worship and the construction activities, spending around 40 minutes at the sacred site.
CM Yogi’s helicopter landed at the Ramkatha Park helipad around 11:50, after which he proceeded directly to Hanumangarhi. While visiting, he emphasized the importance of cleanliness, instructing the priest to ensure the upkeep of the revered Hanumangarhi premises. The Chief Minister spent about 15 minutes in prayer, made a donation, and met with Mahant Dharamdas.
Later, CM Yogi held discussions with officials from the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, including General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Dr. Anil Mishra. The Chief Minister inquired about the progress of the temple construction and asked whether the work would be completed by December 31. Expressing confidence, he highlighted the significance of the upcoming celebration on January 22, urging officials to make grand preparations for what he referred to as “the biggest celebration of the century.”
PM Modi is expected to inaugurate the airport on December 30, and CM Yogi inspected the site, directing officials on arrangements for a public meeting after the inauguration. The proposed ground for the meeting was also examined, with CM Yogi ensuring proper facilities, seating arrangements, and provisions for the attendees.
In a separate meeting at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust office, preparations for the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav were discussed. Former co-chairman of the Sangh, Bhaiyaji Joshi, invited the entire country to visit Ramlala on January 26 and emphasized the need for meticulous planning and coordination to welcome devotees.
Additionally, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the Ayodhya Vision in the Commissioner Auditorium, expressing dissatisfaction with the dust on the roads and directing the Urban Development Department to increase the number of sweepers to maintain cleanliness. He emphasized the need for efficient public transportation, including bus and helicopter services, and the creation of a digital tourist map for Ayodhya.
“With an eye on the Pran Pratistha program, CM Yogi urged officials to leave no stone unturned in building Ayodhya into a world-class tourist city. He inspected various road projects and called for the decoration of Ayodhya to be a rehearsal for the upcoming grand event”.
