Ram Mandir Inauguration: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has introduced a transformative shift in New Ayodhya ahead of the Ram Mandir Inauguration on January 22. An announcement ending curfews signifies a move towards a harmonious atmosphere, fostering ‘Sankirtan’ or devotional song renditions in reverence to Lord Ram.
The CM, during the presentation of Ram Lalla’s specially crafted attire on January 16, highlighted the involvement of 12 lakh artisans from across the country. Spearheaded by the Heritage Handweaving Revival Charitable Trust, this initiative underscores a collective commitment to preserving and venerating Ram Janmabhoomi.
Yogi Adityanath, addressing the event at his residence, emphasized the invocation of Shri Ram in every task undertaken in India. He termed the pran pratishtha of the Ram temple as the re-establishment of the country’s public faith. Despite differing interpretations, Ayodhya, according to the CM, is a matter of faith, representing a cultural unity rooted in the legacies of Lord Ram and Shri Krishna.
Recognizing the anticipated surge in tourist numbers, reaching lakhs, following the temple consecration, Adityanath emphasized the government’s responsibilities beyond meeting devotees’ needs. Ayodhya, he stated, symbolizes the faith of Sanatan Dharma, and plans are unveiled to generate employment opportunities for thousands, solidifying the city’s significance in India’s cultural landscape.
