Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a significant step towards women’s empowerment by distributing sewing machines to 1,150 skilled women trained by Maharana Pratap Shiksha Parishad in Gorakhpur. The initiative aims to enhance the economic independence of these women, providing them with a means to support themselves and their families.
In a parallel effort to address healthcare needs in underserved areas, CM Yogi also flagged off two mobile medical vans. These vans will cater to the medical requirements of the poor and needy populations in Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Chandauli, and Sonbhadra. The move aligns with the government’s commitment to extending healthcare services to remote regions, ensuring that everyone has access to essential medical facilities.
During the distribution event, CM Yogi expressed his hearty congratulations and best wishes to all the women who received the sewing machines. This encouraging gesture from the Chief Minister reinforces the government’s dedication to uplifting marginalized sections of society, particularly women, by providing them with the tools and resources needed for self-reliance.
The sewing machines not only serve as a source of livelihood for the trained women but also contribute to skill development and entrepreneurship in the region. Additionally, the mobile medical vans reflect the government’s commitment to ensuring healthcare accessibility for all, irrespective of geographical constraints.
As Uttar Pradesh continues to witness initiatives fostering empowerment and inclusivity, CM Yogi’s distribution of sewing machines and the launch of mobile medical vans stand out as impactful steps towards building a more self-reliant and healthier society. The heartfelt congratulations from the Chief Minister further underscore the significance of such endeavors in transforming lives and communities.
