CM Yogi Honors Outstanding Players at Special Program

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took to Twitter to share a significant event where he, along with Union Minister Shri Anurag Thakur, participated in a program organized in Lucknow. The primary objective of the program was to honor the exceptional performance of players from Uttar Pradesh in the 19th Asian Games, the 4th Para Asian Games (2022), and the 37th National Games (2023).

Recognition and Rewards for Achievements

During the ceremony, a total of 189 outstanding players from the state were felicitated with a substantial ₹62 crore in prize money. Additionally, those who secured gold, silver, and bronze medals were appointed to key positions such as Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Youth Welfare Officer, and Passenger/Goods Tax Officer. The recognition not only applauds their sporting achievements but also provides a platform for their contributions beyond the sports arena.
