Ayodhya: In a significant move towards transforming Ayodhya into a global pilgrimage destination, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath flagged off e-buses and e-autos today, just ahead of the consecration ceremony of the new idol of Lord Shri Ramlala in Shri Ayodhya Dham. Launching these eco-friendly modes of transportation is part of a broader initiative to facilitate easy movement for devotees and the general public visiting Ayodhya.
CM Yogi, in his address, expressed his commitment to giving Shri Ayodhya a new identity on the global stage, aligning with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He congratulated all stakeholders on these initiatives, emphasizing the importance of making Ayodhya accessible and welcoming for pilgrims and tourists worldwide.
“As part of the inauguration ceremony, Chief Minister Yogi also unveiled the ‘Divya-Ayodhya’ digital tourist mobile app, which provides comprehensive information and assistance to visitors exploring the sacred city. This user-friendly app is expected to enhance the overall experience of pilgrims by offering details about religious sites, cultural attractions, and practical information for a hassle-free visit”.
In addition to the tourist app, CM Yogi launched the official website of Ayodhya Police, a crucial step towards ensuring the safety and security of residents and visitors alike. The website is likely to serve as a valuable resource, providing updates, and emergency contact information, and promoting transparency in law enforcement activities in the region.
“The introduction of e-buses and e-autos aligns with the broader sustainability goals of reducing carbon emissions and promoting eco-friendly modes of transportation.
