In a significant move towards enhancing child welfare and nutrition, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the ‘Hot Cooked Meal Scheme’ from Ayodhya. This initiative, aimed at providing hot and nutritious meals to children aged 3 to 6 registered at Anganwadi centers, reflects the state’s commitment to fostering the well-being of its youngest citizens.
Expansion of Anganwadi Centers
As part of the inauguration ceremony, CM Yogi laid the foundation stone for the construction of 3,401 new Anganwadi centers across 35 districts in Uttar Pradesh, amounting to a total investment of ₹403 crore. This expansion signifies a comprehensive effort to strengthen the foundation of early childhood development and education.
Inauguration of Residential Buildings for Police Personnel
The event also marked the inauguration of newly constructed residential buildings for police personnel in the Reserve Police Lines of the district. This dual focus on child welfare and infrastructure development reflects the state government’s commitment to holistic progress.
