CM Yogi: Project Alankar to Revitalize Uttar Pradesh’s Secondary Schools

In a bid to revolutionize the educational landscape of Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched Project Alankar. The ambitious initiative is geared towards rejuvenating the infrastructure of dilapidated secondary schools across the state, ensuring that every student has access to quality education in a conducive environment.

Under Project Alankar, the government has committed to providing significant financial support to facilitate the refurbishment and enhancement of school facilities. In a recent statement, CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized the government’s unwavering commitment, asserting that no school should remain dilapidated when it comes to providing education to the youth of Uttar Pradesh.

One of the key features of Project Alankar is the allocation of grants based on the type of school. Government schools receive a 100% grant, ensuring that they have the necessary resources to address infrastructural deficiencies and create an environment conducive to learning. Aided private schools are eligible for a 75% grant, enabling them to undertake renovation works and upgrade facilities. Additionally, Sanskrit schools are entitled to a 90% grant, highlighting the government’s recognition of the importance of preserving traditional educational institutions.

The implementation of Project Alankar signifies a significant step towards bridging the gap in educational infrastructure and promoting inclusive growth across Uttar Pradesh. By prioritizing the transformation of dilapidated schools, the government aims to provide students with access to modern amenities and facilities essential for their holistic development.

Beyond the physical refurbishment of schools, Project Alankar also underscores the government’s broader commitment to enhancing the quality of education in the state. Through strategic investments and targeted interventions, Uttar Pradesh aims to elevate its education system to international standards, empowering students to compete on a global scale.
