The UP Government is intensifying efforts to develop key religious and tourist locations such as Varanasi, Ayodhya, Naimisharanya, and Mathura. Over the past seven years, the state has invested ₹4,416 crores in the development of 1,620 tourist destinations. Formation of New Tirtha Vikas Parishads
In addition to site development, the government has established seven new Tirtha Vikas Parishads. These organizations are tasked with overseeing the development and management of key pilgrimage sites, ensuring their preservation and the enhancement of facilities for devotees and tourists.
