NTA to Conduct CUET (UG) – 2024: Schedule, Mode, and Important Details

CUET (UG): The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted by the Ministry of Education and UGC to administer the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for undergraduate programs in Central Universities and other participating institutions since 2022. As CUET (UG) – 2024 approaches, candidates need to familiarize themselves with the schedule, mode of examination, and important details.

Scheduled to take place between May 15th and May 24th, 2024, CUET (UG) – 2024 will be conducted in a hybrid mode, encompassing both Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Pen & Paper mode. Approximately 13.48 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the examination across 380 cities, including 26 cities outside India.

A total of 63 test papers will be offered in CUET (UG) – 2024, with varying durations. Most test papers will have a duration of 45 minutes, while subjects such as Accountancy, Economics, Physics, Computer Science / Informatics Practices, Chemistry, Mathematics / Applied Mathematics, and General Tests will have a duration of Sixty minutes.

To ensure equal opportunity for candidates, test papers chosen by the majority will be conducted in Pen & Paper mode, while the remaining papers will be conducted in CBT mode. Candidates are advised to carefully check the schedule and time of each opted test paper to avoid any confusion.
